IMPORTANCE OF HIFZ-E-QURAN

The significance of Hifz-e-Quran cannot be overstated. One of our primary objectives in committing the Quran to memory is to ensure its preservation for future generations. Allah affirms this divine responsibility in the following verse: ‘Indeed, it is We who sent down the message [the Quran], and indeed, We will be its guardian’ (Al-Hijr:9). Since the time of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), the tradition of training Huffaz has flourished. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) proclaimed that the most honourable individuals are those who memorise the Quran. Reflecting upon this profound statement, we recognise the immense blessings and honour associated with this sacred task.
